Complaints and dispute resolution

Version: 24 October 2026

1. Our role

Go2Boat acts as an intermediary between you and the provider of the boat. Your contract for the boat and its services is with the provider named in your booking confirmation. Cancellation, security deposit, weather and refunds follow the provider's conditions, which you see before booking. For private providers without their own conditions, our conditions for private rentals apply.

2. Go2Boat is on your side

If something is wrong, we work for you: we find out what happened, translate between you and the provider and ask the provider for a solution, for example a technician, a missing part or a replacement boat.

Go2Boat is not liable for the provider's services and does not refund from its own funds. Refunds are decided by the provider under its conditions. For direct listings we pay the balance to the provider only after the handover; if the handover does not take place, we refund from the amount held back, in money.

3. How to report a problem

  1. E-mail to hello@go2boat.com, with your booking number.
  2. «I need help», where it is shown on your booking page, in «My bookings» or in the e-mails about your booking. Your case is then linked to the booking at once.

Describe briefly what happened and, if possible, add photos or evidence. During your time on board please report a problem straight away so the provider can fix it on site.

4. Response times

  • We are available Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 19:00 (Swiss time). The first answer comes within 4 hours within these hours.
  • Outside these hours we record your case and the team gets back to you at the start of the next working hours.
  • Safety on board and a boat that is not handed over go immediately to the responsible team and the management.

5. If we cannot reach an agreement

If you find no solution with the provider, you can assert your claims against the provider. We give you all the details of your booking for this. Consumers resident in the EU can also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body in their country, where it is competent for the case.

6. Law and language

This policy is governed by Swiss law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the consumer's country of residence remain reserved. If the language versions differ, the German version prevails.

Go2Boat is offered by Phaer AG, Baar, Switzerland.
