A day on the water is a present nobody puts on a shelf. People remember the cove of their first jump into clear water, the afternoon breeze and the evening in the harbour. Anyone who wants to give a boat trip faces a question, though: which boat, which day, which area? The Go2Boat gift card leaves exactly that choice open: the person who receives it decides.
What the gift card is valid for
The gift card is valid for every boat on Go2Boat: from a day trip on a motorboat to a long weekend on a catamaran or a week under sail. It is valid in every area where Go2Boat shows boats and with every provider. The recipient searches like any other guest, sees real availability and the final price from the start and enters the code at checkout.

A single day costs much less than a week. On the gift card page we show for every amount what it covers, for example in one area: again from real prices, never estimated.
How long it lasts and how to redeem it
The gift card is valid for 5 years, to the end of the month. It does not have to be used in one go: the balance pays the amount due on a booking at that moment, in full or in part. The rest is paid by card. Whatever is left stays available for the next booking.
If a booking is cancelled, the redeemed part goes back onto the gift card: it is not lost and not paid out in cash. If the gift card has expired by then, the credited balance stays valid for at least twelve more months.
How to give it
You choose the amount, the currency (euros or Swiss francs), one of four designs and, if you like, a personal message. Then you decide: you get the gift card straight away as a PDF to print and hand over yourself, or we email it directly to the recipient, right away or on a day you choose, such as Christmas morning. Payment is handled securely by Stripe.
If plans change, you can return an unused gift card within 14 days and get your money back.

Yes. For every boat on Go2Boat, in every area and with every provider, from a day trip to a week.
Does the whole amount have to be spent at once?
No. The gift card can be used in several parts; the remaining balance stays available until it expires.
Can the gift card be used with group payment?
With group payment every fellow traveller pays their own share by link; the gift card cannot be used there yet. The organiser can book without group payment and redeem the gift card instead.
What happens if the boat is cancelled?
The redeemed part goes back onto the gift card, the card part back onto the payment card.
