How booking works

    Choose your dates

    You only see dates the provider really offers, with the final price.

    Confirm

    With the deposit the boat is firmly booked for you. You pay the rest on the date shown in your booking.

    Set sail

    Check-in details and the provider’s contact arrive in good time. During your time on board we are there for you.

Frequently asked questions

Who is my contract with?

Go2Boat is the intermediary. Your contract partner is the boat's provider, named in your booking confirmation.

When do I pay?

A deposit when you reserve, the rest on the provider's payment schedule. For last-minute bookings the full amount is due straight away.

What does the price include?

The final price shown includes the provider's mandatory extras. Security deposit and optional extras are shown before you book.

Do I need a boating licence?

Not if you book with a skipper. Without a skipper, the licence required depends on the boat and the country.

Can I cancel for free?

That depends on the provider’s terms. They are shown on every boat before you book – where you can cancel for free, you see until which day.

Can everyone in the group pay their own share?

Yes. Whoever books invites the others by link, and everyone pays their share with their own card. The person who books remains the provider’s contract partner and covers any unpaid shares.

How many boats does Go2Boat offer?

As of November 2, 2026: 9,766 boats with free dates from 905 providers in 43 regions. We count again every day.

Why does Go2Boat count only boats with free dates?

Many platforms quote the number of all their listings, including boats without free dates. We count only boats you can book today. The dates come straight from the providers' booking systems, are kept in sync continuously and are checked live once more before payment.
